How we work
1. Get in touch
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you seek advice on home improvements, curious about a complete house renovation, or just after a fresh pair of eyes to give you some ideas. We welcome enquiries from all over the world, for whatever size project.
2. Initial consultation & site visit
Once you have contacted us, we will offer you a free personal consultation with Design Director - Steve Fairfax where you can discuss your ideas, and Steve can advise you on his. In some cases, this will involve a site visit. This consultation is refundable should you wish to proceed with the job.
3. Fee proposal & payment
We will then carefully put together a full fee proposal based upon the information we obtained from our initial consultation. Once agreed, we move forward to payment where you will be invoiced a deposit or full amount, depending on the size and value of the project.
4. Design
Steve will then begin the concept design stage, which will involve a presentation on the anticipated look and feel generated from the consultation and site visit. The concept might evolve throughout the process, with Steve working closely with you to ensure your brief is fulfilled. Once agreed, we will move forward to a detail design stage where such items as fixings, finishes and product will be specified and ordered.
5. Construction & Installation
Perhaps one of the most fast-paced but exciting parts of the process, the construction and installation stage is when everything comes together. If you have opted for the full project management service, we will take care of everything logistic related to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible.
6. Completion & Sign off
And finally, once the construction phase is complete, we will look to sign off the project. This stage will involve several site visits throughout a period to ensure everything is working well and the design brief is met. We will always make sure our clients are fully satisfied before vacating the site and signing off.
